Peakaboo: Experience Upscale New American Dining with Stunning City Views

Peekaboo is located on the 101st floor of Hudson Yards! The place is upscale, with gorgeous views. We got a quick drink at Peak, as Peakaboo only opens at 11 PM. We visited on a Friday night and they had an amazing band playing. The drinks were well made, and we got some Eastside shots for the table. These with the side of tajin cucumber were perfect! Will definitely be back to try some of the other cocktails and music!

This bar is definitely one of the more upscale ones that I've been to in New York. Located on the 100th floor it offers breathtaking views of the city the bar offers a variety of different drinks from specialty cocktails to glasses of wine. The cocktails were all in the $20 range so not the cheapest. Before a certain hour (I think) they also only allow you to stand at the bar. Tables are $75 minimum per person. However, we talked to the manager and he was super sweet and set up a corner spot for my boyfriend and I. I would definitely come again to try the food.

This is a review for peakaboo the lounge . Peak is for dinner . A little bit about the layout since I was super confused . It's on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson yards. Peak is the restaurant. And peakaboo is a lounge to the right of the restaurant with a dj on Thursdays to Sunday nights between 10:30 p.m. to 2 am. The huge bar is in the middle of the space and to the left is Peak , which still had seating available for drinks after dinner hours . So starting our night out was a little rocky because we had 10:30 reservations but groups of people ahead of us were being taken , no one even asked or checked in with us. After 45 minutes of waiting I finally asked twice and we were told the table wasn't ready that's why it was taking so long . This place seems very upscale, classy and trendy so I didn't get that. But that was just their 5th floor lounge staff . Once we made it upstairs , well wow . I kinda wish the elevator was glass windows but even still when you step outside upstairs it's just wow . Also the concierge team upstairs was freakin outstanding . The reservations people were so nice to have noted my preference for a window seat and honestly they sat us at probably the best seat in the house ! Well for Peakaboo atleast . I think the other corner for Peak is probably great too . I mean it's so high up any of the window seats are breathtaking I'm quite sure . Shout out to our server Rachel and I couldn't get the young gentleman's name both were amazing . The drinks were amazing , Dj was great, it's a very lounge music chill vibe . Just wish as the night progressed the music could have been slightly better ! But it's still such a good time . I really loved the fact that it wasn't crowded , like with tables , usually places (that try to be like this) cram their table space , so many people , this was amazingly intimate . No one rushed us . We did spend a decent amount but no one forced bottle service on us or anything . We were able to get some big plates of food too! Honestly , I freaking love this place . I know it's new and I have a feeling because of demand and people it's probably going to change . But I really really hope if they keep , keeping it exclusive people will see this place for the outstanding gem it truly is!
